StarkWare has unveiled S-two (STARK Two), a next-generation zero-knowledge prover capable of running natively on consumer hardware. The public alpha release marks a significant milestone in bringing STARK proofs to everyday devices like phones and laptops.

The technology promises to enable mobile-friendly blockchain experiences, browser-based applications, and new privacy-focused AI use cases. A full integration with Starknet is expected before year-end.

Several prominent teams including Kakarot, Nexus, and Herodotus have already begun building with the new prover. Early benchmarks suggest S-two generates proofs with unprecedented efficiency for consumer devices.
